Start the day with an extensive breakfast buffet in the hotel's Wintergarten or on the sunny terrace. Enjoy a choice of fruits, yoghurts, scrambled eggs, fresh buns or pancakes - there is something for everyone!

 

In our depencance - the Seehaus Restaurant & Cafe you can have a (warm) meal from 12-21pm: typical Bavarian meals, a salad, a snack or a warm apple strudel with vanilla sauce - what will it be for you? On days with good weather and sunshine our lake terrace offers the best mountain views and invites you to stay. The Seehaus is closed from Monday through Wednesday.

 

In the evening our guests have the option to choose from an à la carte menu in our Seehaus Restaurant or go to the half-board buffet. Finish you perfect day of vacation with a beer or a glas of wine at the hotel bar!

We offer a huge variety of regional products: cheese and yogurts made from the local cheese dairy in Ettal, fresh buns from a local bakery! Fruits, mini croissants, scrambled eggs, pancakes, vegan options - that and more our guests will find at our delicious breakfast buffet!

Start your holiday with an Aperol under the sun. Use your coffee break for some fresh air on our hotel terrace. Or end the evening at our open-air bar by the pergola Laubengarten.

Half board in the Sommergarten Restaurant

In the evening, our team in the Summer Garden Restaurant will spoil you with a varied buffet or a 4-course menu (choice of the chef). Daily, we conjure up a selection of different starters and salads. For main courses, you can choose from regional specialties, fish, meat, and vegetarian or vegan dishes. Finally, the dessert and cheese buffet is a must.

 

Eating together is more enjoyable

 Don't feel like eating alone in the evening? For solo travelers, we offer the option of reserving a seat at the communal table for dinner upon request.

Restaurant in Garmisch

There are two restaurants at the Riessersee Hotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the main building you will find the combination of the light-flooded Sommergarten and the modern Bavarian "Sportler Stüberl". These rooms are availabe for breakfast and half-board guests, during the summer extended by the sun terrace and the Biergarten. 

Our dependace Lake house (à la carte restaurant) is just across the street and offers a fantastic mountain and lake panorama. Choose between traditional Bavarian food and regional and seasonal specialities for lunch or dinner. In the afternoon we offer delicious homemade cakes and ice cream! Take a seat in the Seerestaurant (180 people) or in the Kaminzimmer (40 people). The Lake house accommodates fup to 220 people.
